This Potamon species of freshwater crab, preserved in travertine stone, was discovered terrestrial freshwater deposits. Travertine is typically used as a construction material. Workers discover these crabs as they saw through the travertine to cut slabs.
This specimen has super sharp details!!! Compared to other examples, this is one of the best I've seen out there.
