Another awesome geode from the great geode capital. This geode displays a very nice gem quality barite surrounded by clear quartz. The gem quality calcite cluster houses really nice rainbow calcites Pyrite speckled all around the inside of this geode. Giving it even more appeal.
This geode comes from the deep Missouri shale. Upon the mining process, this was hit during the excavation with the equipment. Regardless, this opening still makes for a nice presentation.
